OUR MISSION & VISION
We live to connect young people across Ontario with the liberating love of Christ and empower them to build a more just and inclusive world.
Our vision is to see a generation of young people empowered to create the kind of world Jesus talked about; a world where there is liberation and flourishing for everyone.
Sub-hub Home Church Network
Our Sub-hub network is the foundation of our community. Sub-hub home churches are an inter-connected group of weekly/bi-weekly small groups that gather teens or twenty-somethings to grow in relationships, community service and faith. Our Sub-hubs meet in-person all over Ontario and online, bringing the energy of summer camp community into our neighbourhoods and daily lives outside of the summer months.
Hub Worship Services
Every Christmas and Good Friday we gather our expanded community together for a big night of high-energy worship. We also gather 4 times a year for our mini-services where we zoom in on a particular topic from our world, faith, or scripture. Our mini-services often feature a guest speaker, music, are streamed online for those who can’t join us in person!
Hub Inter-Youth Group events
2 or 3 times a year youth groups from all over Ontario come together for a giant day of games and food! During COVID we shifted online for murder mysteries, spy agency trainings and outdoor movie nights! We’re excited to bring back our original games tournament The Hub Grand Slam in 2023!
Podcasts and online resources
Since 2020 we’ve wanted to share more voices and continue to pass the mic to others in our community and beyond. The Hubcast features conversations on where we’ve grown and changed in our lives and faith by asking the question “What have you been wrong about?”
Stay tuned for a new podcast coming fall 2022 as we look at the housing crisis in our country and how we can respond to create a more just and inclusive world where no one is left out in the cold.
